Ngày 12-10, Công an phường Tam Bình (TP.HCM) đang điều tra nguyên nhân vụ cháy chung cư Tam Phú.

Khoảng 12h cùng ngày, căn hộ tầng 15 chung cư Tam Phú, đường Cây Keo, phường Tam Bình (TP Thủ Đức cũ) bất ngờ bốc cháy, khói nhanh chóng lan sang các căn hộ xung quanh. Phát hiện cháy, bảo vệ gọi điện báo lực lượng chức năng.

Chuông báo cháy vang lên, nhiều người dân vội ôm con nhỏ chạy xuống đất theo lối cầu thang bộ. Lúc xảy ra cháy, tại chung cư xảy ra mưa lớn.

Phòng Cảnh sát Phòng cháy chữa cháy và cứu nạn, cứu hộ Công an TP HCM điều động lính cứu hỏa cùng 3 xe chữa cháy đến hiện trường. Đám cháy được dập tắt sau đó.

Theo nhân chứng, vụ cháy xảy ra trong phòng ngủ căn hộ. Lúc đó chủ căn hộ không có nhà.

Đại diện phường Tam Bình hỏa hoạn nhanh chóng được khống chế, đến hơn 13 giờ, tình hình cư dân cũng đã được ổn định.

Chung cư Tam Phú gồm 2 tòa tháp chung cư cao, mỗi tòa nhà cao 21 tầng.
